I'm Kate, the founder of Sassy Pup Studios. I help local businesses get found on Google, collect more reviews, and automate the busywork that eats their time — so they can focus on what matters most: the customer in front of them. I also offer custom automations and a variety of other tools. I started this business to help my community and the small businesses that make it work.

My Story

Why I Built Sassy Pup Studios

I began laying the groundwork for Sassy Pup Studios in October 2025. I knew I wanted to run a business, but I didn't know exactly what kind. During my deep dive into AI — learning how it works and how to leverage it — I realized I wanted to help small businesses that might feel AI and automation are too hard or too much for them. I wanted to make it accessible in the way the original sassy pup that inspired the business name made things more accessible to me. And honestly? I was fascinated by the tech itself.

It started with an intensive free mastermind course by Outskill. I worked hard to absorb what they taught, then ran with it and explored deeper. I spent months studying various methods of leveraging AI so I could either build the tool a business needed or recommend something that would work if my services weren't the right fit. I started publishing guides and continue to do so. I built a blog showing how to do things yourself if that's the route you choose.

One of the things I learned growing up is that time is valuable. That's probably one of the reasons I like AI as much as I do. It gives accessibility — to time for the more important things like human interaction with customers or family, to information in formats that work better for different learning styles, to tools that adapt around how your brain actually works rather than how it's "supposed" to work. I don't work with enterprise clients or businesses that are part of a chain or franchise because those businesses have corporate support. I focus on the smaller businesses that don't have a big corporation backing them up. The one-man show, the mom-and-pop store, the local service business where someone just wants to make a difference — that's where I want to make a difference. Running a business isn't easy, and it's even harder when you're doing it all yourself or with a small team.

I don't do long-term contracts. I offer month-to-month services so if we need to make adjustments to better meet your needs, we can. I help local businesses get visible, get credible, and get more calls. No agency BS. Just results you can measure and cancel anytime if they stop showing up.
